Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow New Formulation

Top (left to right): D552 (very sparkly, has glitter flecks), ME554 (metallic finish, an exact dupe for Urban Decay Mushroom), M618 (matte charcoal brown, not patchy in the slightest)
Bottom (left to right): ME930 (very similar to the NARS Dual-Intensity shadow in Subra, very deep and rich purple), S556 (perfect cool taupe, very similar to Urban Decay Tease), I872 (Iridescent frosty pink, reminds me of MAC Phloof but I haven't swatched side by side yet).

I will be posting more photos and swatches soon, but I wanted to share my initial thoughts. I love the pigmentation, blendability, texture, color range, variety of finishes, packaging. I dislike the fact that the names are just letters and numbers. The finishes are diamond, iridescent, matte, metallic, and satin. All of them are equally smooth, buttery and pigmented.

I purchased these at Sephora. 1 for $21, but if you get a set of 3 they are $44. The palette is just $1. The palettes come in single, duo, and trio.

I should mention that the refill comes in a great little plastic case (you'll just throw this away) and the pans are magnetic. They pop easily in the palettes and the bottom of the palettes have holes so you can just as easily pop the shadows out and move them. I love how the palettes are clear on top so you can see the shadows and the lids bend all the way back so you can flatten out the package. I hate when the lid doesn't go back far enough. It's thin, but sturdy. Just so impressed.

  2. Hi Laura, off subject but in your YouTube may 1 2012 lululemon bag review, what brand of travel pouch do you have your deodorant in, in the lululemon triumphant bag?
